Chaak in Tustin is one of my fave restaurants in Orange County so i knew i had to try Chef Gabbi Patrick's more casual restaurant, Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen (it's Michelin recommended too which doesn't hurt at all.) parking is a real pain (it's in the Old Towne Orange part of Orange so that's to be expected) but the food is amazing. I had the arrachera which is 8oz of prime skirt steak and it was tender and perfectly medium rare. Whatever you order make sure you get the churros for dessert.

Love love love this place! whenever in Orange Circle we stop by and have some house margaritas and food. Especially enjoy sitting at the bar when Rodolfo is working. He makes the margaritas just like we like, he is super friendly, gives awesome service and always remembers us :) Hubby always gets the Pozole Verde because it's delicious every time. It's a seafood pozole with sea bass, little neck clams and shrimp in a green broth and is exquisite. I love the enchiladas de camarones (shrimp enchiladas) in a delicious green sauce with rice and beans but I have also gone off of Rodolfo's recommendations on apps and everything has been good. Most recently I tried the taquitos potato and beef and quesillo en salsa verde (panko breaded cheese and green sauce), both were fire! Surrounded by tall brick walls and eclectic decor you definitely get the vibe of being transported somewhere in Mexico and this is definitely some of the most authentic tasting Mexican food I've had, it's an elevated atmosphere so it can be a casual or date night spot. Definitely stop in and grab a seat at the bar if you're in the area, you wont be disappointed!

Found this when exploring Orange Old Town Circle. I thought the salsa verde was fantastic! The roasted tomatillo gives it a slight smokiness that makes it so unique. Everything else tasted really good including my passion fruit margarita. Staff was very cordial. I like the unique design of the restaurant, with glass decor on the walls. The playlist included awesome Colombian songs! Good job, DJ! Thanks for the hospitality.

Wow, this place is amazing! You all MUST try their guacamole here. The flavors are exquisite and their chips are so good! My fiancé and I did our party proposal here and we loved it. The staff were so accommodating and nice about our reservation. The drinks here are also a must try, so good! If you want something to truly write home about, you MUST get the seafood enchiladas, so insanely good!

3.75 stars rounding up. A cute restaurant in the historic Orange Circle with no sign. We had dinner there early Sunday evening. We had a party of 6 and had a cute round table near the front of the restaurant. First off we sat for a solid 10 minutes when we got sat waiting for service. We ordered guacamole so they brought, chips, guac and one salsa for 6 people. We had to ask for more salsa. Kind of clueless. With that said the salsa was excellent, I loved the roasted garlic flavor. The food was good, it didn't blow me away but everything was solid. I personally had the seafood pozole verde which was bright, fresh and spicy. Ample shrimp, fish cubes, clams and pozole filled the bowl. They need to chop the cilantro, the bowl was full of huge clumps of cilantro like baby trees in my soup. Also a couple of Tortillas on the side would have been nice to cut the citrus and spice. Wifey had taquitos which looked beautiful but the beef was extra smoky and took over the dish. Dessert was churros which stole the show and they serve their coffee as a French press which was excellent. Halfway through our meal the clueless hostess at the front pulled up the shade like the sun had gone down and literally blinded us and then pretended not to notice. We had to get another waiter to tell and busser to close it again which took several minutes. It definitely left a bad taste. Service was just ok, they def could step up their game.

Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen "WOW! My experience at Gabbi's Mexican Kitchen was truly unforgettable! The star of the show was undoubtedly the mouth-watering Arracheta steak - it was cooked to perfection and simply melted in my mouth! But what really made our visit shine was the exceptional service! Carlos, the manager, was an absolute rockstar! His warm welcome, attentive nature, and genuine enthusiasm made us feel like royalty. And the host at the front of the restaurant? Top-notch! Their bright smile and friendly demeanor set the tone for an amazing evening. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by GMK-Trust me, it's worth your while! The team's dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect. Don't miss out on this hidden gem - book your table now and get ready for a culinary adventure! 5 stars aren't enough - I'd give them 10 if I could! "

Was perusing Orange Circle on a Saturday afternoon and ended up stopping into Gabbi's for a quick lunch. It was right before noon and surprisingly not too busy yet. We were seated right away towards the back of the restaurant. I just say this is a gorgeous restaurant. The decor is a 10/10. We didn't want to eat anything too heavy, so we shared the watermelon salad and shrimp enchiladas. The watermelon salad was good, nothing too special. The shrimp enchiladas were absolutely delicious. The highlight of our lunch were the chips and salsa though. Chips were fried fresh and salsa perfectly spicy. Would recommend for a nice date out!
